Jennifer is a Registered Social Worker with over 30 years’ experience. She specializes in supporting children, teens and families coping with a variety of issues such as trauma, disordered eating, parental support, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, bullying and school attendance. She can offer services in French and English
Jennifer possesses a rare combination of empathy, critical thinking, and resilience, which allows her to navigate even the most challenging situations with ease. She tends to spend time building rapport and creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard and supported. She approaches every client with patience, calmness and a genuine desire to help each person.
Her practice is guided by a strengths-based and client-centered approach. She draws from different therapies such as trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques.
Outside of her practice, Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, reading and watching movies.
